He lives in San Francisco, California, loves traveling, and is a consummate master of billiards. Wes Blemker: Director of Search Marketing
As WebMama's Director of Search Marketing, Wes manages the SEM and online lead generation programs for key WebMama clients. His major focus is ROI. Prior to joining WebMama, Wes worked with Intuit for over five years, developing and managing online strategic partnerships and lead generation programs. In his role at WebMama he is responsible for Vonage, Verisign, and VMware. Wes grew up in the Midwest, moved to Silicon Valley while his wife was at Stanford University, and is now living in Virginia. In his down time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, playing golf, and reading. Ellen Ferlazzo: SEO Content Writer
Ellen Ferlazzo has been involved in the high tech industry for almost 25 years, working in a variety of positions including; writing, user interface design, project management, marketing communications, product development, technical support, and training. At the moment, Ellen focuses on SEO writing, both persuasive online writing (Web copywriting) and natural (organic) SEO, and either suggests changes at a high level or gets very specific and rewrites page content. Ellen lives in Pleasanton, California, and has a bent for cooking, gardening, and music. She is currently taking fiddle lessons. Lidija Davis: Web Strategy
Lidija Davis has been involved in media for 19 years and is currently the Silicon Valley correspondent for Tech Talk Radio Australia. She has written and produced for television, newspapers, and radio, and, in 1997 wrote and produced Online, Australia's first television series dealing in all things Internet. She has recently completed coursework at Harvard University in graduate journalism and aspires to make technology, particularly the Internet, accessible to ordinary folk. Lidija has spent the past few months rewriting and redesigning WebMama's website, in addition to dealing with all things Media for WebMama. Lidija was born in Europe, raised in Australia, married in England, and now calls the United States home. Amanda Evans: VP Search Strategy
Amanda is responsible for the development and implementation of comprehensive search strategies for WebMama.com clients. Prior to joining Webmama.com, Amanda Evans spent 7 years with Hewlett Packard Company as Global Search Manager, developing and managing the company's search engine marketing strategy and campaigns. She was also responsible for loyalty marketing and interactive advertising for hpshopping.com, HP's consumer e-commerce division. In addition to her time at HP, Amanda has also held online marketing positions at internet startup, Zazzle.com and PC manufacturer Acer. Amanda holds an M.B.A from San Jose State University and a B.S.C. from Santa Clara University. When she's not working, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family & friends, hiking, traveling and playing the cello. Amanda lives in Belmont, CA. Laura Reichle: Search Engine Optimization Specialist
Prior to joining the WebMama team, Laura Reichle spent 11 years as a Web Producer in positions at Netscape, AOL, AltaVista and startup Eazel, managing all aspects of website development including planning and strategy, specification development, information architecture, content development and site production. As owner of Laura Reichle Consulting, she also acted in a variety of Producer roles with top companies such as Sun, VeriSign, Cisco, and Covad. Laura manages SEO projects for WebMama.com, specializing in website auditing and ongoing analysis. Laura lives in San Jose and enjoys travel, volunteering, and hanging out with her husband and dog Sadie at the beach. Joop Verbaken: Search Engine Optimization Technical Specialist
Joop has worked in the high tech industry for over 25 years in positions varying from hardware/software engineer, software developer, technical marketing manager, project manager and web developer. Most recently he has focused on SEO and works as a consultant with WebMama on SEO projects. Joop is one of the founders and principal engineers at www.ahaGO.com, a home exchange and vacation rental business, where he focuses on web design and implementation and customer support. Earlier in his career Joop worked in Italy on testing of photovoltaic cells and panels, at Cadence in Component Data Base products, at a Neural Networks start-up and at the Archimedes project at Stanford (transferred to Hawaii) on documenting the design and implementation of the wireless system for elderly and disabled. Over the last several years Joop has been a Web consultant. He has developed commercial websites (Web development, UI, server and data base maintenance and setup). Joop lives in Palo Alto and loves to sing in the Santa Clara Chorale, play tennis, Yoga and travel with his family. Doug Evans: Search Engine Marketing Analyst
Doug Evans has spent the last 10 years developing and analyzing marketing strategies, performing market research, forecasting revenue, and analyzing customer behavior. He joins WebMama from Sony Computer Entertainment and Hewlett-Packard. Additionally, he spent time at Wold Savings identifying and negotiating the purchase of new branch offices across the country. Doug holds a M.B.A from San Jose State University and a B.A. in Geography from the University of California at Los Angeles. When not at work, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, traveling, and studying voice-over acting. Doug lives in Belmont, CA |
